George Ledson Receives Diamond Jubilee Award

JONES CONGRATULATES GEORGE LEDSON ON RECEIVING A DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDAL
(Dufferin-Caledon) Sylvia Jones, MPP is pleased to recognize and award Cavalier President and CEO George Ledson with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal.
"It is a privilege to be asked as an MPP, to nominate deserving members of my community for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee medals," said Jones. "This decoration honours significant contributions and achievements made by Canadians and I am honoured to nominate George for his contributions in our community."
Jones said, "George is dedicated to our community and generously supports many local organizations. His contributions have helped make Headwaters Healthcare Centre a facility that we can all be proud of. Through his generosity to organizations like Meals on Wheels, George has helped volunteer organizations reach out to individuals and families in need."
"For more than 55 years, George is a very successful business leader who is willing to step up and lend a helping hand where needed," Jones said. "He is a role model for our entire community, and I am proud of his many noteworthy accomplishments."
